Two individuals lost their lives in a tragic train accident in Jamtara district, Jharkhand. According to authorities, the incident occurred when passengers alighted from a train on the incorrect side and were subsequently struck by another local train at Kalajharia railway station. Kaushik Mitra, CPRO of Eastern Railway, announced the formation of a three-member JAG committee to investigate the matter.

CM Jharkhand Champai Soren stated that an ongoing Committee investigation is being conducted regarding the Jamtara train accident that resulted in the loss of two lives on Wednesday night. The CM mentioned that he will provide further information once the investigation is concluded.
